Bouncing ball project

So this was my first personal project in art school. Its really nice to take a break from all the collaboration and only be responsible for yourself. so as the title would suggest the project was to create a series of bouncing balls. It teaches the fundamentals of squash and stretch, heaviness and movement.

So this was my first attempt at a bouncing ball and I think it turned out all right

I then couldnt resist feeding my obsession with giving personality of inanimate objects and gave my ball a wee face and an unfortunate situation

this was inspiredby a little plasticine figure a friend made me

and here is my very first maya animation, which I found rather difficult
Overall I found the project helpful in getting to grips with basic animation. while I have created many animation before, this project was really beneficial as it was entirely focused on all the technical aspects of animation rather than narrative.
